After a great deal of form filling together with help from the Brecon Beacons National Park Countyrside officers, I have had great news this week. I have managed to get funding towards next year’s woollen lines as well as the funds to test greasy wool produced by sheep grazing on Pen Trumau.

These tests will help find ways of using wool in a more sustainable way by reducing the need to have the wool scoured. If this is possible it means that participating farms can be paid for any wool that they are prepared to offer for work on Pen Trumau.
