So how did it happen that the celebration of the Queen’s coronation 60 years ago happened the same day we went to the House of Commons?
Despite all the extra security there was a lot of laughter as we navigated our way into the Supreme Court to have a cup of tea before heading off to the House of Commons for yet more security checks. ( Supreme Court is very interesting for a visit despite rather disappointing tea)
It was a privilege to receive the Campaign for National Parks Park Protector Award from Fiona Reynolds and to talk to the sponsors HF Holidays as well as other CNP members. I am hoping that some of them might come and join us on 23rd and 24th June to begin to create the spiral of wool on the untouched part of the peat scar. I have arranged to have 6 horses carrying wool so need volunteers to lead them up and ride them down as well as people who are happy to lay wool.
Times and meeting point will be posted nearer the date but if you do want to come along please let me know as soon as possible.
