Today was wild and windy but 21 intrepid souls made it onto the hill to begin the new woollenline which will spiral around the untouched patch on the top of the scar. I think everyone really got to understand how if they were a tiny plant they would be unlikely to flourish in such extreme conditions.
The weather promises to be kinder tomorrow so fingers crossed will complete the task even if we only get all the wool up there and the first few turns in place.
If you think you can join us please do get in touch tonight or early in the morning. The route is marked to the place we gather and it would be wonderful to have a few more along.
To those who came today a huge ‘thank you’.
